There is nothing like Christmas.  Most of us look forward to getting and giving presents.   It is a time to reflect on what it is really all about.  The true meaning of Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ and what He did for all mankind.  This should not be forgotten or removed from the holiday.  It bothers me when I see the word holiday or  xmas replacing Christmas.  We need to always remember what the day is about.

There is something about Christmas shopping that has changed through the years.  The online shopping is getting easier .  Take this site for example (warning crass commercial message follows),  You can trust me to live up to my promise of value.  So far I have only had positive feedback from my customers.  The typical response tells of a happy customer.  I want to make the experience much better than you expect.  One time I send a Log Cabin kit to a customer that was missing one piece.  I was emailed about this and it bothered me a great deal.  I am not perfect but, I do know how to correct an error.  I sent a letter of apology, the missing piece and to make it right, I sent an extra kit to her to make it up.  She sent me an email thanking me and could not believe the customer service that I offered.  To me it was the right thing to do.  It cleared my conscience of my error and made both of us feel better.

This is the type of service that seems to be missing from todays shopping experience.  People forget that the customer expects to be treated fairly.  It truly bothers me if I disappoint my customers and I try to make it a great experience.  

I am sure you noticed me sitting on the doll house.  I know it looks silly but I thought that would be an honest way to show the quality of the product.  That is a test that I bet no other doll house manufacturer would do, that is why I did it.  I want the customer to be more than satisfied with the purchase.  I want them to brag about it to others.  There is nothing like word of mouth advertisement.  People trust the opinion of people they trust.  That is how our custom cabinet business survived for so many years.  Daddy didn't advertise, but he would stay busy from referrals.  I want to continue the tradition of the business by being a respected company with my kits and furniture.
